We then visited the maritime Museum which displayed the USS Yorktown, aircraft carrier, USS Laffey, destroyer – the ship that wouldn’t sink (survived many Kamakazi attacks) and a Vietnam War Memorial. Got off to a good start this morning...about 7:15. It was a pretty quiet, uneventful trip. We did see gas for $2.99 in Wytheville, VA and was going to get some, but this price was for cash. Richard thought we'd find the same price on down the road. was $3.00. Did we stop? Nahhh...kept going. At 1/8 of a tank, we did get gas...only it was $3.03. All I can say is, it's a lot less than at ...

I set my GPS and left St. Augustine around noon and arrived in Brunswick, GA at 2 pm. Little miss GPS took me through downtown St. Augustine and Jacksonville. Yes, the oldest city in the US has narrow, narrow streets. There was a bypass interstate ...
