... 3.25 bus which cost 5.50 Eu so same prices as the train getting here. It was an old bus with sealed windows and no vents or A/C. It was a boiling hour and a half ride back.
We went instead to the Tatar Mosque which is at the end of a city park a short walk from the station. There are only four Mosques in Lithuania, the other three are made of timber, this is the only stone Mosque.
... tourist office said would do GF bread, and they do, but had run out for today!
Breakfast in the hotel felt rather like lunch, with offerings including chicken broth, cheese, ham, salad, pancakes with meat or cheese and waffles.
Lithuania has less colourful housing than Poland. Still has sandy soil, still has mistletoe, but not everywhere. People are less tied to crossing the road only in the places ...

The people here are beautiful.
The women and men are all quiet attractive.
There was only 1 girl under 50 that weighed more than I did but none were anorexic.
There was no orange fake tans, or too much make up.
The girls all had beautiful long hair, the boys well clipped, clean clothes and hair and only the odd leisure wear.
Going to be honest, we were expecting more the Polish ...
... street, called Galeria Urbana. We shared an excellent bruschetta for a starter and then Cat had a frittata while Ally opted for stuffed chicken (not very Lithuanian but very tasty!). Having received tiny napkins at every meal and joked about how we were meant to wear them, we suddenly realised that they are in fact only there to decorate the basket carrying the cutlery and not to be draped across our laps... Cat hastily returned hers before the waitress came ...
