I made it to the Santa Monica pier and my first realisation was that it looked exactly as it's portrayed in GTA V which was kind of cool, down to the placement of the Ferris wheel and the roller coaster. I didn't go on either ps, as a solo guy alone on a Ferris wheel is a bit odd in anyone's books. Maybe next time. Spent the first few days eating dirty processed fast food that tasted AMAZING and drinking loads of alcohol. The cheap prices are always a draw card.

And I headed back toward LA, but as I did I went down the mountain on Presidential Drive and there were the rest of the Presidents after Reagan on the lamp posts...Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, and Obama.

... people leaves us with out the included shuttle service to the airport. We weren't too fussed as we were intending to pick up a hire car anyway so we could get around during the day.
