... end stunning buildings. Everyone has a boat and theres a few restaurants and bars that you can drive your boat too! The stuff of dreams. Had a wonderful dinner, scallops (size of small teacups!) and cauliflower puree, amazing. Such warm and welcoming hospitality from the hosts - THANK YOU.

... Bridge in downtown Austin is apparently home to one of the largest bat colonies in the United States. Thus, the good people of Austin gather every year to celebrate the flying mammals. Rumor had it Adam West had been signing autographs earlier in the day. Unfortunately all that remained when we arrived was his Batmobile parked in front of one of the ubiquitous cow statues that dot the city; this one was designed as, what else, a bat.
