    Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

The choir was led by a woman in her 70’s, who had the voice of Aretha Franklin and the supporting acts, especially another woman, was mesmerising (Tam had a tear in eye, I did too when I discovered the mimosa’s had run out). The saxophonist was also amazing, ...

... salty or sweet. There are clothes, jewelry and home design items throughout.

We are SO excited about the new things we are going to see.

Even as we see giant cactus, sky-high highways and giant gas stations; we are grateful for the opportunity to see new... anything.

Who knew cactus, highway flyovers and giant truck stops would be such a hoot to us??
