The difficulties of yesterday led to a trailer which is now about an inch and a half wider in the back than it used to be. However, it turns out that there is no Home Depot in BFT (bum f'd Texas). This lead me to the question, "Hmmm, how do I McGyver the back of the trailer together?" I started thinking about my days on the trail, and the handy pack of zip ties I used to carry to give the Jeep guys, you know, to keep their stuff ...

Today's travel agenda includes flights to London (with a layover at DFW), then a train to the city of Bath, 1.5 hours away from London. I'm really excited about Bath, a town named for the Roman Baths it is built upon. If all goes well, we'll be walking into a B&B in Bath in just under 14 hours. ...
... when the chain restaurant we ate in had a cop on duty full time policing the parking lot. Oh well, I knew this was going to be an adventure and this just helped add a little color!

Today was a travel day. As were packing up this am the sky darkened and there was light rain. By the time we were on the loop around San Antonio, the sky opened up and the downpour was serious, with driving becoming very difficult.
