... fluid reservoir and sure enough it was pretty empty. Bob went into the oil place to see if he had any brake fluid. He did not sell any, but he did have some DOT 3 in his car. Well, that was not going to work since the tag on the reservoir stated only DOT 5.1 to be used. Not once again, as luck would have it, there was an Auto Zone "just up the road". ... During our stay in Hill County, we bumped into a classic car show in Bulverde, TX - held in the Bulverde Baptist church parking lot. ... to just sit outside next to the water and watch the world go by! We got back to the hotel at around 12am. (Dirty stopouts) our hotel is lovely, it's really old and authentic, we have a communal balcony as well :) *still find their fashion funny, the girls have mini skirts and dresses on with cowboy boots and men have their maverick cowboy hats on with boots under their jeans, they must be absolutely boiling in this heat that's all I can say!* Night y'all ...

Weird to be back in the states. Taking pictures of random things, like drinking fountains, public restrooms, $10 burgers, street signs, tacky souveniers, and silly tourists. Cool town though - learned a lot about Texas at the Alamo and enjoyed my walks down the river and the King William district. ...
