We stayed with mom for a week while getting ready for our cruise. We have been looking for a Jeep to tow on our trip and just now found one in San Antonio! All things in due time! We also got the towing and Break Buddy installed while we were here. We left the RV at a generator repair place while on the cruise to have the generator ...

Our train ride goes smoothly and is actually early in Fort Worth & Dallas. Maybe not surprisingly, we get the same coach attendant as on the way done - her name tag read T. Booker, so Booker T it was.

... Dallas the next night so off we go (back) to Dallas. This is immediate immersion into the US 'it's only 2.5 hours in the car' and it's all freeway' mentality. However the bonus was a visit to the excellent Dallas Botanical Gardens/Arboretum and its adjacent childrens' activity centre. Max found the water fountains of course.
That evening we had a bizarre meal in a kid friendly restaurant with waiting staff dressed ...
