Best Western Rumwell Manor Hot Taunton

We said goodbye to Joy yesterday evening which was a bit emotional. I can not wait to go myself right now. 11 Weeks and 3 days before I land in Rio. Not that I am counting!

I am yet again one step closer though: After booking the tickets, moving bedrooms, forever not trying to spend any money and Joy leaving already, I decided to tell work about my traveling plans. It was such a relief! Slowly but surely my time will come! Muahahaaa!

Well 7 weeks to GO!!!!


June is still busy buying clothes can't keep her out the shops. We are busy trying to set up all the systems we need in place and staff what they need to do in our absence.

Great finding so many people interested in what we will be doing and where we are travelling to.

Just want to get Junes problem sorted at the hospital they are messing us about. Got heavy with them today.

... and then going back to bed (tis alright for some). So after a spot of breakfast Dawn took me to the airport and my adventures begun.
In the airport I found my way to the baggage check-in, and guess what? I was the only one there. So I obviously could have stayed another half hour in bed, but the good think was that there was long line to wait in. Once my suitcase was gone I had to head off for customs. Well - being in Cardiff was good since it is the closest airport, being on a 2-hr drive to the hotel. But had to wait about an hour for the rental car place to open up.

At least I got to go through the visitor information brochures and grab a bite at Burger King.

Am flying to Gran canaria today :-D cant wait to go and just making sure i have the last few things..

I went to Bridgwater carnival last night which was brilliant watching
all the floats but made sure was back early to get some sleep.

So we decided on a next stop as Lyme Regis on the South Coast to break up our journey back to London. It's a nice place at the start of the Jurassic Coast which we did not have time to explore. Kim impressively went for a morning run even though it was rainy and windy and I stayed tucked up in bed!

my whole route to get to the farm was totally unplanned, and i left later than i was hoping for anyways as i stayed in bed until 10am and then spend half the morning looking for my thermarest mattress with no such luck... i will have to get it from arno another time.

... pint. Then you go into the other tent and there is 100 different beers from breweries around the area, so you go pick one and basically it can be pot luck and could taste like **** but after about 4 pints you dont really care!

... that the matter was now in the hands of fate, so I might as well go down to the bar and get tanked. I figured I'd have a few pints, then go upstairs and pack for the next day's trip.
