    ... as the day we arrived was a public holiday so the place was crowded. He climbed ‘The spires’ and it was nice to chat to them afterwards at La Posada as they cooked up on the BBQs provided. A young Mexican boy and girl made a big fuss of Indi and the boy took some photos of her with his DSLR camera, Kat chatted to him and ended up finally understanding what camera and lens she would want to buy when we went next to Taiwan.

    We crossed the border on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:25 am, much later than our original plan. We crossed at the bridge in Pharr, and have since decided we will use the Hidalgo bridge next time. It is closer and less expensive. We were delayed in Texas for three months due to our accident in Dallas. Now the motorhome is fixed and we are continuing our winter adventure.

    The first few days here I felt pretty out of place and thought I would seriously go bananas if another person asked or talked about how many pitches, jugs, dihedrals, ropes, etc...
