No one was in sight and after five more minutes of confusion, we finally realized they had driven to Donna, Texas and were currently at the front entrance to Circo Hermanos Vazquez! Oops. They eventually made their way to us, but unfortunately missed most of the first half of our show.
The rain has finally started here. We're all parked on dirt. Dirt that gets REALLY sticky and thick when you add water to it. Sigh.

As for us, we continue on here in Paradise, and this week we
toured out to Los Ebanos where there is the last running hand pulled ferry,
which transports 3 cars at a time, 100’ across the Rio Grande River, and I may
be exaggerating. Now, and it blows the mind, Homeland Security has built a
Million dollar plus ...
... meditation schedule and working out with Emilie once we're out of the Valley will help calm my frantic mind. I'm in multi-tasking overload and not accomplishing everything I think I need to accomplish.
This evening, a group of folks from the show were going to Denny's and we were going to go, but John's pretty achy (he pulled a muscle yesterday and is still working that off) and I'm pretty tired, so we opted to stay home. Bedtime soon for me!

We’re right up the street from a hole-in-the-wall billiards bar, so after the second show, we met up with Emilie, Jason, Jeremiah, Kayla, and Jacob to go play pool. This is the first chance we’ve really taken to socialize since the season started and it was so much fun. I needed to go back to Walmart for two more pairs of pants for the crew guys, so John and I piled into the Excursion and took care of some of our own personal shopping after I’d grabbed the pants. I feel really lucky to have access to a show vehicle twice ...
