A lovely family stay

We successfully arrived in Welland around 3pm and rang Barbara to confirm it was ok to come round. Her husband John, said 5pm would be the best time, so we drove down to the local park for an afternoon read and snooze. At 5pm we turned up on Barbara & John's doorstep and were invited in with open arms. Overnight with a view
I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!

(Kevin) We got a late start from Niagara Falls since we spent most of the day sightseeing. We got on the road at about 8:15pm and headed towards Cooperstown. We stopped at a Wal-Mart at 11:20pm for a little shuteye. We will have a 45 minute ride in the morning to get to the MLB Hall of Fame.

... advantage to this hotel is that we could park our car in the lot, and we did not touch it again until we ventured up the coast on the the Canada side. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.
