So after a quick backpack drop off and some lunch, it was straight into the action....in the cold, miserable rain. For only the second time this trip the rain fell constantly (and last time it was just getting from train to hostel in Inverness). After climbing the historic city wall steps at the gate I looked over to one side and saw 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th century ...

Saturday, the morning of the wedding was lovely -sunny and
warm and then as we headed off into the town to find a place to park close to
the venue it clouded over and started to rain.
We had time to spare so equipped with an umbrella we wandered around
Ilkley which is a beautiful town.

The rain eased for the guests and the bride to arrive but
came down in bucket loads during the ceremony and reception which meant that
