... this was is that the town and seafront are on slightly different levels; probably about 40 metres different. We walked through the town learning of its origins; being foundered by Henry Pease as a village for his workers to find some recreation. the venue it clouded over and started to rain.
We had time to spare so equipped with an umbrella we wandered around
Ilkley which is a beautiful town.

came down in bucket loads during the ceremony and reception which meant that

... to the living room to open presents. We all did really well and I am just really glad that Valerie was here with us, so much a part of the family and part of the day. 2013 it is.

The rest of our time in Ilkley, our last couple of days, were spent enjoying the scenery and listening to rain patter on the conservatory roof, and there was a lot of that! We did then head to pick up our rental car, for another portion of our trip, but that's for another blog entry.
