We fond the Cobblestone Cafe in the centre of Grassington and we enjoyed the paninis with tea. As we were looking for a table another couple offered to let us share their table in the courtyard outside so we passed the time waiting for lunch chatting to a couple from Chesterfield who were staying nearby for a few days walking.

Saturday, the morning of the wedding was lovely -sunny and
warm and then as we headed off into the town to find a place to park close to
the venue it clouded over and started to rain.
We had time to spare so equipped with an umbrella we wandered around
Ilkley which is a beautiful town.
The rain eased for the guests and the bride to arrive but
came down in bucket loads during the ceremony and reception which meant that
... to the living room to open presents. We all did really well and I am just really glad that Valerie was here with us, so much a part of the family and part of the day. 2013 it is.
The rest of our time in Ilkley, our last couple of days, were spent enjoying the scenery and listening to rain patter on the conservatory roof, and there was a lot of that! We did then head to pick up our rental car, for another portion of our trip, but that's for another blog entry.
