Homeward Bound

Day One
Unfortunately, had a little snafu on the way to Somerset last night. Nothing a new tire didn’t
solve! We blew another tire on the turnpike, about 30 minutes from Somerset.
The Cooleys were too far ahead of us…so guess who was the helper changing a
tire on the turnpike at 10:00 at night? After that, all went well and we made
it to Walmart.
Surprisingly, we did get a good night’s sleep. The temperature went down ...
Day One
... piece of architecture. We are now staying at the Budget Host Inn, in Greenup, Illinois. It's actually not that bad of a hotel/motel. For only $38 we got a clean room with 2 double beds, a microwave and mini-fridge, a tv with cable, and wifi internet. Definitely worth the $38 for the night.
All of our stuff is strapped to the back of the jeep, and it is looking like a very good solution ...
