Greenup Illinois is a small community in rural Illinois. It is home of Abe Bowman, Pitcher for the Cleveland Indians in 1914-1915 with a record of 2-8 and 4.74 era. We bid farewell to our Hoosier home at about 6:30 in the morning and headed out on Highway 50 towards St. Louis. Unfortunately, had a little snafu on the way to Somerset last night. Nothing a new tire didn’t
solve! We blew another tire on the turnpike, about 30 minutes from Somerset.
The Cooleys were too far ahead of us…so guess who was the helper changing a
