Today was our final day in Maine, and we saved Cadillac Mountain for last. When we left the campground we entered Acadia National Park and drove to the top of the mountain. Cadillac Mountain has the distinction of being the highest point on the Atlantic coast. The best description of the view from the top is WOW!!! Tommy estimated the islands we could see in the distance ...

... irresistibility, he offered to buy me a drink (I’m pretty sure he had already had a few). When I declined, stating that I was meeting my mother in New York, he replied, “Then you definitely need a drink.” When I still put him off, he insisted on buying me a pizza instead. The gracious person that I am, I agreed and invited him back to my table until he detrained thirty minutes later.

I found out that his name was Chris, and he was ...
