    We rolled out of Durham, NC on Thursday morning, July 2. We drove for about 5 hours and arrived at Kanawaha State Park just outside of Charleston, WV. Ended up with a great site up on a hill. Beautiful woodsy park with a stream running through it. It started raining quite hard so we hunkered down for an evening of board games.     ... right across the border from Kentucky. We're about 8 hours from home, and decided we are sick of traveling, so tomorrow will be our longest day, a mad dash for home.     A Nice Stopover

    ... just resting recuperating from 10 days of traveling! Sandy and Landy got here around 4:00 and discovered that the power cord on the trailer had snapped so Jerry has been over with Landy supervising I guess. They have no brakes on the trailer and no brake lights. Not good in the mountains. Don't know what they will decide to do tomorrow but so far Landy has been unable to repair it for travel.
