Well Hello to Everyone Today!!
Today started out with such an eye opening experience.. The Oklahoma City Memorial. This was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.. from the glowing chairs for the 168 people killed, to the reflection pool...to the museum. This morning was very emotional and overwhelming...what an unbelievable time we had this morning. At one point at the reflection pool.. there were probably about 10 dragonflies flying around the reflection pool...it was amazi...
On our way to Albuquerque we stopped in a small town called Durango, where we took a jeep tour of the nearby mountains in an open top Hummer. Mike, the Hummer driver was really cool and he sped down the mountains which made the jeep heaps of fun. We then stopped at an even smaller town - Cuba in New Mexico before getting to Albuquerque for dinner. After tea we went to a local pub named Neds where we met some lesbians who thought we were in a choral group. After they requested we sing some Mel...

Am surveying others on how they attempt to stay healthy when traveling in airports and on planes? I have traveled almost every week for over 13 years and have found some ways to cope but am interested in what others have found works for them?

Thanks!
Metro Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States weezy78Still needing rest from our drive, we took it easy today and let the kids play around the house. After lunch, we just took a drive around Albuquerque to see what's around. We drove up by the base of the mountain. Then we headed down to Central Ave which is the old Route 66. Most of it is very run-down but you can still see the old roadside hotels from back in the day. At one point, Central Ave turns into a very hip area where all the shops and ...

We got timber wolf kisses and many pics.

I enjoyed the winter most because it was cold and would snow ocasionally. Albuquerque in 5000 ft above sea level with mountains called the Sandias surrounding the city. Lifestyle was different from Florida. It is the biggest small town of the southwest. We returned to Florida in August 2009 longing for home.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States gnatalia... not know why. It was really neat seeing so much of it up close. I can't wait to get home and study up on it. (I bought Max and Charlie each a piece at the Jackrabbit trading post). The painted Desert was also beautiful and fascinating. The landscape is heavily eroded to display multi-colored layers of stone, each layer being colored by the major element in it, red from iron, green from copper, black from Carbon, etc. The whole effect is stunning. The ...
Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States captnoindustry... guide doesn't list any campgrounds close to Albuquerque, we decided that Wal-Mart car park would be our base for tonight. There were already quite a few RV's parked up when we arrived so we picked ourselves a good spot before going inside to do our shopping.

As it was still only late afternoon and you can't exactly get your camping chairs out in the middle of the car park, Neil decided to do Chip's oil change (as Wal-Mart will take your waste oil) and also to adjust ...

Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States rone_9So first I went and visited my friend Shannon in Albuquerque, who I'd met the year before on the way to Guatemala. This was back in the days, back at the age, when such was the norm, making friends on the road. I’m not sure which was more important, but the best part was that it extended to locals, usually smoking herb, so it must have been ...
