    ... I am in belongs to me. Abbotsford, the "city in the country" that we are staying in for an extended time has amazing agriculture with mountains in the background - the landscape I look at on my way to "work" everyday is a nice fusion of the west coast terrain I know from my old home in Vancouver and the farmland I know from home in Carp. ...

    ... on Tuesday. Except there are no flights on the usual airline (of which I know the times and route very well). And thus there are no flights booked. But I’m supposed to be leaving on Tuesday (see what I mean about being ready at the drop of a hat?) But it’s the weekend. So I haven’t heard anything about my supposed flight on Tuesday. Geez. So I wait. And wait. And wait. Still.

    ... the hotel is to the left. Heidi takes me sightseeing in Abbotsford - one problem, it's dark and not really good for sightseeing! We make it back to the hotel and discover that someone else has parked in front of our door, so we are forced to find another parking stall. There is one not too far away so we take that one. One last visit to TIm's for Heidi's coffee fix and we lock ourselve in for the night. It's good to be back where Tim's is king...

    ... and had lunch. We then spent the afternoon relaxing, catching up on emails and looking up alternative flights home. We soon found out that it was cheaper to get new flights than to change the ones we had, so we got on the phone and booked flights for the 12th for $400 (250) as it would have cost $716 (448) nearly double otherwise. After some dinner we settled in with the usual entertainment until time for bed.
