... better and more comfortable being down at the club. Our first game was a success where we won with one wicket in hand in the last over. We bowled first and the opposition made 203 in there 45 overs, they looked like making 300 but it was only the top four batsmen who made runs for them, they fell away pretty quickly after that. I took one catch and also took one wicket, bowling the number 3 batsmen. ...

... hotel at 9 to give ourselves plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and find out where we need to go. Carrying our luggage from the hotel to Pimlico station was a lot harder then I thought it would be. We finally made it to Pimlico and caught the tube to Kings Cross with plenty of time to spare, so we sat down to rest our legs at Pret and I had a coffee. We eventually found out which platform we had to catch the train from (unfortunately it wasn't platform 9 3/4) ...

... which have been used for several hundred years as a prison, up until the middle of the 20th century. They also had a very good exhibition about the First World War which made for sobering viewing; I didn't realise more than 9 million people lost their lives in that conflict.
