    I took a walk on a short trail in the Wildlife Area, as it’s called. I saw no wildlife, but did get some nice late evening shots. One is of a small Prickly Pear Cactus, much like we have in Montana. I got a couple of early sunset shots and couple of pastoral scenes. There are cattle in the area nearby. Nice to hear a cow lowing again, for a change. I did see three whitetail type deer this morning on the way. Nice ...

    ... I guess I just have to guess... I think I am going to take about 2 weeks worth of clothes, but I will just have to start packing and see what fits. Maybe I will be able to take more, maybe less. (Hopefully not less. I don't want to be that person that wears the same clothes every day...)

    Our departure date is only a few days away and I am hoping to finish at least one more book before then. I've been doing quite a bit of reading about China and have really enjoyed the process. My knowledge of Chinese history was very poor and for the first time I have been digging in. Although I have just scratched the surface, I have a much better understanding of what this mammoth country has been through.
