Drove to Story City, Iowa today. The weather was not good today, in fact we drove through pour down rain for about 1 1/2 hrs as we passed through Kansas City and northward. The campground was wet from all the rain and not as pretty as it was the last time we stayed here 4 years ago. Smokey hasn't been sleeping well and has been crying during the night. I guess it is too much going on for him. Needless to say, we haven't been sleeping too ...

This is a race of cars which crash at each other. Young guys get old cars from the junk yard and prepare ...
... there was this small town cafe - and it was packed to the seams and for very good reason. The food was excellent and oh, the home made pie was the best way to end the meal. What a wonderful old historic home they live in too - thanks Bob & Marilyn, for your wonderful & warm hospitality! :-)
