    ... a major melt down and he evntually chilled out, par for course on a road trip with a toddler I guess. We checked in here around 7pm and bathed the kids ate some mcdonalds and showe red ourselves. The USOC always brings a Doctor along to take care of big wigs and dignitaries that have made the trip. They stay in the fancy pants hotel that the rich folks stay at and they play concierge doc at the hotel and from about noon till midnight, they are on call at the "USA House" which is party central for everyone whose anyone in the US Olympic family. ...

    ... you. We decided to reward the reasonable well-behaved Grabby Hands and Pouty Lips with a stop at Ruby Jewels Ice Cream and a new gastronomic delight: the ice cream sandwich.     ... One of the launch areas (we think C) even offers rentals of canoes, kayaks, and motor powered watercraft. There is also a snack shop at the same launch but it closes early. There is a disc golf course too but I wouldn't recommend it for younger players or beginners, as there are many obstacles. The course goes through a wooded area where there are plenty of places to lose a disc.
