      ... replaced them with brick so now they are all standing. It is very unusual to have brick buildings around here. They also had some murals as well as life sized chainsaw carved statues. But they had no Denny’s as this was where Jenny had intended to have breakfast.

      The rain was replaced with cloud and then we could see some breaks as we headed toward the mountain. The road was lined with huge trees which nearly covered the road. I think ...

      By the end of this week there will be A LOT of kids impersonating our infamous Awkbird puppet and squawking the word "AWKWARD" in a high-pitched voice.

      ... war theatre. I can just imagine the advisor to Churchill telling everyone their big secret plan is to make massive boats out of ice. Operation Habukkuk, should you want to look that up.

      The next day, we packed everything up and after a short while were back in God's province and our next stop was home.

      ... bikes... We started the one-way 8km seawall loop of Stanley Park but Ben was having dramas with his pedal coming loose - they just didn't tighten it up properly when it was assembled. So we cycled half way round the loop to get to a bike repair shop downtown - with multiple pedal tightening stops along the way. Five minutes later he was fixed & we were back on the bike path.       ... seeing the fruits of the competitions work.

      On the way back from Hope we tried on first blizzard from Dairy Queen on Sarah's recommendation. We got pecan, toffee and chocolate it was so good! We asked for a medium but it came in a tub about the same size as a large drink carton from McDonald's good job we were sharing.
