... played RnB and other music i like, but there wasn't many people there so we moved across the street to Platå (pronounced platua). The music here wasn't really for me, techno, both english and swedish. After dancing till my feet hurt, Sanja and i just sat on the couches and relaxed a bit. We left the club at 3am and caught a cab home. It was a good night. We tried tequila shots, definately a new favourite! The girls also sang hapy birthday to me at midnight, in Swedish (yes ...
Linköping, Östergötlands Län, Sweden heathjeDay 3 was our last day and we had to get up really early for a bus at around 5 in the morning. We then had hours to kill before our flight home. On the flight we were just leaving when someone was taking ill so we had to go back and unload them, they were taken off in an ambulance.
We spent the second day just chilling out and looking around the town (not much to see in winter) before heading to a sports bar for dinner and then to the concert.
The concert was amazing and afterwards we went to the stage door. After waiting ages we were told that Kerry and Mazz had gone out the front door so we ran round the front, highly embarassing as it was a glass building so Mazz saw us run round.
Flight
So the flight was relatively quick but we nearly had to divert to a different airport due to adverse weather conditions. As it was we did manage to land but we had hours to wait until we could get a bus to Norrköping so we killed time by playing musicals pictionary.
Transfer
The bus from the airport to the city took about an hour and a half but it went quite quick because we ...
Nyköping, Swedish Lakeland, Sweden teten... assaulting my senses every two feet. About all I had were some pleasant smells of food cooking, sounds of birds and a river, and a very clean, very safe city and harbor to explore. It was an absolutely great way to spend one of my last mornings abroad, and Nyköping fully lived up to its homepage's promise that it is worth a visit. I just hope my final Ryanair flight this evening down to Lübeck doesn't undo this relaxed feeling I have got inside me right now.
Nyköping, Swedish Lakeland, Sweden atlpilot36... and the fun pubs. The lady Jane who had built and owned the hotel prepared for us some tea and snacks once we settled into our rooms. The whole hotel reminded me of home, it was well decorated and very cozy. We stayed there for one night and it made the end of our trip complete. With a warm and nice room that we didn't all have to cram into.
Nyköping, Swedish Lakeland, Sweden scboettcherIt have sure been an amazing month for me and camping and seeing London together with Sami was a lot of fun. If I could do it all over again I would, without a doubt. Now I need to finish my studies by doing my thesis. I just need to find a company where I can do it first, and once I start it will take 10 weeks. Then I am free to do whatever I feel like and I will get a job and try to save up money for more travels!
Norrköping, Sweden henrik.caesar... opinion makes such a perfect combination. The houses are predominantly made of wood, the inside and the outside and they have a very cozy feel to them. You almost just want to get inside, kick your heels and put your feet up to have a rest. Henrik's grandmother is called Kerstin and she lives in Bränntorp with her partner called Hasse. As we arrived, she leaped to the front door, with a biggest smile I have ever seen and her arms wide open and I felt so welcome, I didn't want ...
Norrköping, Sweden samira_steve... the surface, it felt like someone punched me in the heart and closed all the airways to my lungs and breathing was hard, because of the cold. I can kinda understand how people can get heart attacks. Of course I kept smiling, or maybe my face just looked like that from the cold. So there you go Mark, you should be very proud of me, and in case you are wondering, no I did not ache the next day! and no I am not about to start triathlon when I return! After our swim we ...
