        • Easy drive but really didn't get far?!..despite explicit instructions I managed to get turned around ( ie lost)leaving Kitchener just as I did entering it!!!...not an easy "on/ off" from 401!!

      After a full travel day yesterday without much excitement, we ended up at a nice Michigan state park on Lake Erie. This morning we headed to The Henry Ford complex in Dearborn.       ... to continue on. I went on to Munising. It's a great place for boating and camping. I'll have to try to come back and do that someday. So on I went to the other side of the peninsula to Lake Michigan. There are some very nice beaches but I had had enough sun so sitting out on the beach wasn't in my plans. So I went on to Mackinaw bridge and to the mainland of Michigan and on home. It was a long day but I arrived home shortly after 9 pm.

      ... David Thayer told me at their 50th they didn't have music because everyone just wanted to spend time talking to each other. That was so true tonight! Just chatting with everyone was priceless! Many have moved from Ypsi. I think the long distance award would go to Rick Roeske. He now resides in ALASKA!
