      Salute to Henry Ford

A travel blog entry by carmandy on Oct 14, 2014

... Not relaxing but very good. We went to a place called Westborn for lunch which is like a fruit shop that has a cafe in it. But instead of being served the food you go and pick it yourself. I had a tomato and veggie soup and Andy a chicken Caesar salad. Very delicious! Spent the afternoon at Henry Fords home called Fairlane and a mere 1300 acres then just drove around looking at the general area - it was raining again, but not too ...

      Back to USA

A travel blog entry by carmandy on Oct 13, 2014

Departed Niagara Falls after a leisurely breakfast in the hotel. It was raining so we thought it good weather for travelling. It was Thanksgiving in Canada so shops were closed - except for good old Walmart and it was a super centre so we decided to see what everyone was talking about. It’s so sad that we have become so unaffected

By how others live in our same world

So self-absorbed, so insensible, so uncaring

      To hell with sharing

It’s all mine for the taking

Eagle Crest and Our Class Reunion

It was a memory maker night! The Reunion Committee (Stephen Kerr, Melissa Hunt-Loy, Linda Sanders, Alice Calder, Marsha Vercelli, Marilyn Joslyn-Sheets) did an amazing job. The Reception Area was decorated with pumpkins and mums, a very nice touch! Penny Petoit Srock and I checked classmates in. That was fun because we got to guess who everyone was. Many we knew, but there was a few that we ...
