We're On the Road to Nowhere

... dinner at a tavern we came across - 179 Kuna for 4 500ml beers and two main meals - you can't go wrong with that!

Following dinner we picked up some beers and followed the tradition of our 2004 Euro trip by making a ghetto beer fridge in the bathroom sink. Good enough to keep the beers cold!

Tomorrow we are planning to have an easy day hanging in Zagreb so I shall leave further comments and photos until the next blog.

... woman was given everything, but the man didn't want sex. She understood when she died of HIV/AIDS.

The rest of the day was enjoyed with ice cream and exploring the highest views of the city. Lovely way to start our holiday, we thought. There is such a great amount to resiliency and kindness in the city. It's rather remarkable.

Just a few blocks from all the important sites such as the central park, railroad station, main post office, and main square, it's the ideal place to stay. The area also has some nice restaurants, with a few choices across the street. The service is four stars at reception and in the dining room.
