... to London on it with a trip from Central station to Frankfurt Hahn for €14. Frankfurt doesn't really change much at night same city just darker. It's not how I remember it but then I was on the outskirts and working. I like it more now and wandered through a couple of small parks earlier that were once again busy with people from all walks going about their ...

... the good housewife that I am, (and because I signed us up for German lessons, which started the evening before and left Brandon no time to make) I was entrusted with making the ever-so-important thing that you must take into your office on your birthday. FINISH DAY (for the Main Radweg, anyway). As usual we were up early and away at 8am. A quick stop at the supermarket for fresh bread rolls to go with our hard-boiled eggs for lunch, then off onto our last leg which immediately went into an Umleitung! Even at the supposed end of the detour we were unable to get back onto the path because it was impassable for a loaded bike between trucks, diggers, etc. Eventually we found a side road that had a pedestrian alley on to the path.

... and find my way back to the train station. I'm so glad to see it. By the end I was starting to get random guys calling 'hey, beautiful' after me (in English) and I do not appreciate this while lost in a large foreign city. Fussen sounds just that little bit nicer. But back at the hostel with the wifi, I see the good place in Fussen is gone and the alternative looks terrible. The castle isn't worth the train ride and a night ...

Arrived safely in Frankfurt,Germany. Our flights were, thankfully, uneventful - no delays or problems along the way. When traveliing you certainly gain an appreciation of how far away Australia is from most of the rest of the world. Using the electronic flight tracker on the plane, it was awesome to think of the countries and oceans over which we were flying. Woke up on the plane and thought of ...
