Grabbrunnenstrasse 19 Esslingen am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, 73728, 711-411110
... beer is by far the cheapest drink.

The rest of the grounds had a state fair without the animal stalls and smells. The rides cost upwards of €5, about $7.50 a ride! Some of them were pretty cool looking though, not just your average bumper cars and octopus. Think upside down and spinning that would cover most. Must be fun after the beer tent! The food selection was fun to peruse, crepes, chocolate covered fruits, lots of meat in ...
Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany al_pageIt was a quick drive from Nuremberg to Stuttgart so we decided to spend a few nights there. Stuttgart is famous for being the home of Porsche and Mercedes Benz. We decided to visit the Mercedes Benz museum and although Im not a big car person it was very fun seeing the evolution of the car. It was kinda frightening to learn how much involvemnet they had in World War II making planes ...
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany ktchris... get off early to wait by a cemetery until the bus comes back, and the driver can chuckle at us. The bus goes right up the hill, good to know. We got off the bus and started walking, looking for signs. We finally turned around and saw the tomb right behind us. The bus drops off right at the base of the tomb, also good to know. Anyway, it's a nice walk to the top and a welcome breeze when you get there. And the view was totally worth it.

Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany wilwayco... and the gardens are really nice. I think the Basel zoo is better as far as animals go, but this one isn't bad for variety. I did not like the small areas where the animals are kept though. It seemed much too small for large wild animals.

After the zoo we walked around the city center and stopped in a beer garden for a little relaxation. We managed to walk around the New Palace and Palace Square and then went to the ...
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany travelingdivaCaught a night train from Vienna and arrived in Stuttgardt in the morning. Had a great day wandering and seeing the sights. Yet another map from yet another tourist info place. More statues and old buildings (Boring right? Not by a long shot). Still walking around wide-eyed like kids at Disneyland.
Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany danandrozGiven the amount of walking we´ve been doing and the levels of humidity, then rain, then sun, then clouds, it would come as no surprize to discover that one day you find you´re on your last pair of underpants, last t-shirt, and last pair of socks. Today was that day. Off we went to the waschsalon in Stuttgart to "freshen up" the travel duds. In Germany, nothing is done half way. To wash your clothing you throw the ...
Esslingen am Neckar, Baden-Württemberg, Germany msprague... as though they have wasted their time. No sirens behind us, back on the Autobahn, adrenalin pumping, ordeal over, BLOODY HELL! So we get to Ohringen, set up camp in temporary Wohnmobilplatz (Campervan parking place) in the carpark of a camping shop, and head into town to find the 'G'Day Mate Patrty' the town of Ohringen has put on especially for the Socceroos Fans. The 'Fan-Fest' was great, huge beer garden, big screens ...
