Nun sind es also knapp zwei Monate her, als ich das letzte Mal an einer Schule die Geschichte
von Selma und mir erzählte. Einen Abend zuvor telefonierte ich mit meinem Bruder und so ganz nebenbei scherzte er, dass ich aus der Übung sein müsste, da ich schon mehr als 8 Wochen keine Schule mehr betreten und Mainecoon gepielt habe. ... it was delicious. I must say there were more kids at this Oktoberfest then at the one in Munich and trhere were many 15 year olds drinking up a storm! They can all drink better then me Im sure...but we did see one of them yarp his brains out! Awesome!

Without much else to do in Stuttgart we decided to head back to Nuremburg and catch a hockey game before our departure to Vienna.

We'd learned enough to say "zwei fur schloss, bitte," and enough to hear "nein." But we didn't understand a word of the lady's explanation after that . . .

For our second weekend in country, Jon bought 3-day passes for the trains and busses. We found our way by bus to the train station, up to Ludwigsburg by train, then on another bus to the schloss, pretty good! We even thought we found the castle, looked just like the picture on the ...

... get off early to wait by a cemetery until the bus comes back, and the driver can chuckle at us. The bus goes right up the hill, good to know. We got off the bus and started walking, looking for signs. We finally turned around and saw the tomb right behind us. The bus drops off right at the base of the tomb, also good to know. Anyway, it's a nice walk to the top and a welcome breeze when you get there. And the view was totally worth it.

Another ultimate weekend, although this time I went with the Frankfurt team to the Junior championships in Gemmrigheim. We did some training to prepare for the upcoming German mixed nationals and European championships, and were there to provide a showcase game for the young´uns against Sugar ...

We attended a big birthday party this weekend in Stuttgart. It was my boyfriend's grandfather's (Opa, as I now know him) 80th birthday. We celebrated with the entire family in a nice little restaurant in a small town near Stuttgart. I have no idea the name of either of those places.
