Via Cappellini, 1/A Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, 47900, 0541-54600
... heard of San Marino but as Sue mentioned it is an independent state named after a Christian stonemason Marinus from around 300 when he hid in the mountain peaks to avoid persecution by the Romans and started a community there. It must have been a case of too small a fish to worry about as today, the mountain state exists as the 5th smallest country in the world. The buildings and scenery were breathtaking. Well worth the long bus ride to get there
San Marino, San Marino, San Marino pollies... as each seat filled the novelty soon wore off. It became cramped and uncomfortable... both physically and socially. As soon as we got to Austria however, the stunning views of the huge, steaming mountain forests, and ice blue rivers took our minds off the traveling conditions. On several occasions we couldn't help but gasp and 'wow' at the surroundings (which I felt quite guilty for doing because there was a blind woman in our carriage).

Nevertheless, it is an understatement to ...

The beach is broken into sections each section has a restaurant, sporting stuff (basketball hoops, Volleyball, Gyms, etc.) lounge chairs and umbrellas. Some even have an outdoor gym. The beach is actually sand, which is a novelty for Italy. We picked up some of the free bikes from the hotel and rode all around the city. I stopped and had a quick swim, Outside of the fact both of our asses were completely numb and bruised afterwards (not the best bikes ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy moore_mattjRavenna was somewhere Matt had insisted we visit, so I included it as a day trip in our packed itinerary. Little did I realise this would be the highlight of our trip. Ravenna is possibly the only place on earth where you can visit 8 UN World Heritage sites in less than a day (although we unfortunately only managed 7, as one was closed for renovations).

Home to the oldest and best ...
Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kristinb... of the play as unforgivable as if you had just gone after the Pope. I turned around, nervous, but no flags were thrown. It was pass interference but again out here, you never know.

We got the ball and Tisma called fake 24 reverse slot which is probably the worst play in our playbook. I swore I wouldn’t run it if he called it because it’s a gimmicky play that works 20% of the time and the other 80% loses yards. We fake a dive to Reggie right then I ...
Milano Marittima, Emilia-Romagna, Italy mavsqb1... the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Theatre was weird, kind of in the middle of nowhere, a large basketball arena attached to some other massive, factory like buildings pretty ugly. The one big thing that really did stand out here were the audiences. It was like they were just waiting, nay longing, to be entertained and were clapping, laughing and dancing ...
Forli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy mamma-mia... as the bikes were not fully restored and were housed in a 2 level building on what seemed to be this mans home land. The smell of oil covered the place and we saw some very old bikes including Guzzis. Wayne loved it as the bikes were in original conditions , cleaned but not restored. While we there someone turned up and the man turned him away saying the museum was closed and when he saw us the man said we had a special entry because we were from ...
Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, Italy kasnsqueak... There is a street here named for every film Fellini ever made, all in a row, even the ones where he served only as scriptwriter for Rosselini (e.g. Roma- Citta' Aperta), and even some I've never heard of, curse me and my protracted periods of escape from civilization! Who better captured the zeitgeist of post-war Europe, especially Western Europe, especially Italy, the horror and sheer absurdity left to befall the ...
