... mushroom. OR, shave off one side of your hair, and have a long emo fringe that covers your face. (These styles were very popular at the hairdresser I went to (where no one spoke English) so as you can imagine, I was very nervous. But coming out looking like I just come from a preppy private school in the English Countryside is better. Phew way to dodge a bullet Peter J.)
... maybe Canada. He worked for a guy but the guy stole his recipes and Eddie left. Then he came back and opened "The real Eddies" Not sure if all that is correct but hopefully it is close. I guess there is another restaurant in Kai fa qu called "Eddies" Anyway, he serves western food and has a delicious bakery. I had some of the chocolate chip cookies. They were tasty.
Again, back to the story, we went to ...
... ship and I noticed it was open today, but now because I had the bike, I couldn’t walk up to it. There was one more road but it had some barriers set up. Maybe I can ride up there and come out by the space ship. I thought I would give it a try. I started riding through the parking lot and up to that road and just as I entered, I heard someone yell behind me. I don’t know what they yelled but by the way they yelled, it sounded like – Don’t go up there. I turned ...
Dalian, Liaoning, China mcoppins... to make me burst some internal organs. It was starting to bulge in an unseemly manner having acquired about 4 fat books, cds, a pair of high heels, a handbag and fluffy Australian animal toys for Tie Shifu's daughters (care of my Mum). After the burst zipper incident at Huashan, I decided emergency offloading was necessary. I found a China Post (not difficult since they are just about everywhere in most Chinese cities, just like China Mobile, unless of course you are ...

It wasn’t until he started moving to my arms, that I realized that my masseuse may be blind, as he had to 'look’ around with his fingers to find the part of my arm he was looking for. At one other point, when he started to massage my arm, he let my hand fall in his lap—and I instantly tensed—not because I was in an inappropriate place, but more ...
... after meeting, and not really accomplishing much. The faculty member assigned to ‘supervise’ was nearly useless, and completely unhelpful other than hosting the meetings in her classroom.
We finally got to the point that they wanted T-shirts for all the English Ambassadors, banners that fell from the building, and the song "We will Rock you" playing, as it was already chosen by the larger group as the anthem.
OK, now we are getting ...

But, to accurately demonstrate the era we were teaching—The Stock Market Crash of '29—suddenly the stocks started to drop, and of course the banker recalls all the loans... Still more frantic trading and the prices keep falling. The game ends when stocks are worthless, people have been cleaned out by the bank, and thus the discussion begins.

... Overall, though, my best comparison for the city is Fortaleza, Brazil. Lots of high rises, but some run down areas as well. I don't really know that there is that much here for me to do, so I'm really anxious for Sunday when I am going to Beijing and the Great Wall for 3days/4nights. Now I'm just hoping the weather would get better, because as I'm sure you can see from my pictures, its quite smoggy outside!
Dalian, Liaoning, China ruthbarz... out of sight South of the WTC. The tall building to the right on the skyline is the Ocean Hotel tower, 201m/659f, 51 stories, and you can't see it well in these pictures, but it has a twin office tower of 30-stories across the street. These buildings are on Youhao (Friendship Circle), the one with the animated geodesic sphere. Around further West is the train station and about 2 miles west is ...
Dalian, China nietsreuef... shower as no hot water. Finally got to bed at 0300 local time (that is without the jet lag factor to calculate). I could hear funny noises in the night and thought that it wasn't too strange if there were monkeys etc.. as this is a tropical country etc.. When they woke us up at 0530 to take us back to the airport after 2.5 hours sleep I opened the curtains to see that the hotel was in the middle of a zoo - hence the funny noises! And it gets even better! They ...
