I remember preparing for the trip and Meg warned me that you aren’t supposed to eat and walk at the same time; it is considered rude to eat on the go and not to sit and enjoy the food and the people around you.

I can always buy while I'm there.

Bob keeps reminding me that we're not leaving civilization. Anything I didn't pack that I end up really needing? I can buy.

We were stopped by US Customs and asked to clear customs in Point Breeze. We followed their instructions and made our way to the customs clearance dock.

"Clearing" customs meant talking to a video phone connection and providing all of our passport information. Very interesting indeed!
