After a comfortable night at an airport hotel, we had an early start to catch the 0800 flight to Myanmar. TG303 to Yangon; an Airbus A330-300, with about 300 seats 2+4+2. Short 65 min flight time. We met up with Peter and Nancy from Lakes Entrance, Vic. After checking into the excellent Chatrium Hotel, we caught a taxi to the Scott (or Bogyoke) …

Landing back in Bangkok from Bhutan was quite a culture shock (again). From the quiet of the high Himilayas to the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. We arrived at the main terminal on Druk Bhutan Air and

A travel blog entry by never2late on Feb 24, 2014

We finally land at Suvarnabhumi International in Bangkok, after 23 hours in airports & on planes. We are tired, disheveled and very thankful for a great room with air conditioning, a shower and beds with good mattresses. It's a fast night with our 7:30 AM wake up call for our next flight early tomorrow. We left Portland on Sunday morning early …

... the worst hypothesis as to how they got that way.

So began our journey out of India. To escape Pondicherry, one’s best shot is the 2 hour bus ride that comes right past the front gate. The only way to get the bus to stop is to wave at it as it passes through on ECR. (East Coast Road). Here the trick is to not wave a bus down that isn’t going to Chennai. Cause if you do, you might not tell the difference, and you might get on the wrong bus.
