    Got up for a very nice breakfast at the adjacent Char Burger Restaurant. Part of the hotel night includes a voucher for a "free" breakfast cooked to order. A ate more at this meal than we think she had at ANY other meal on our trip. Definitely more breakfast than she had in the past 2-3 weeks.

    After the goat escap-ades, we wandered in the gardens and pulled a few weeds and explored the flower beds. The yard has fruit trees (plums, apples, cherries and pears) and there is an old filbert (hazelnut) orchard in the pasture and a lovely fig tree in the front yard. I hope figs are ripe before I leave Oregon and available at a fruit stand as I have never had a fig right off the tree and I bet fresh figs ...

    We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's at about 1 this morning. Grandpa and Dad went to the Habitat Breakfast, while Mom and Grandma took Jack to VBS, and got the oil in the car changed.
