    ... were lots of spots to visit on the way (great recovery spots): Hallelujah Point (named after the Salvation Army congregation singing), the Nine O'clock Gun(still fires every evening), Brockington Point (and the lighthouses), Prospect Point and The Lion's Gate Bridge (tucked under the dangerous cliffs), Siwash Rock (and the tree growing out of rock), Third Beach, Ferguson Point and Second Beach. Breakfast and lunch combined today and was at Mike's Hot ...

    ... is a freshly baked cookie in a cast iron pan topped with gelato. Enough for two.. and I think Riley deliberately left his hat there so we have to go back for another one!

    We finished off the evening wandering down Robson St - every night is late night shopping, there is plenty of festive spirit - and there's even a ice rink at Robson Square with a Xmas band playing... we will have a go this week hopefully!

    ... a delicious supper of lamb burgers, Raita, and sweet potato wedges for supper. It will be hard to resume normal service in the Pirton kitchen.
    As I had distributed a few gifts plus chocolate I couldn't believe how difficult it was to repack the pack. Managed it by removing a very old pair of slip on shoes which went the journey and an old cardigan which Denise will return in time. I blame it on the extra attire required for cruising but worth the struggle I think. So next stop ...

    ... was quite good with good commentary again. We got back to collect our bags with just 10 minutes to spare (they closed at 4pm). then decided to walk to our apartment and John & I met the owner's brother at a cafe to collect the access cards and keys. Location is in a good trendy area of town called Yaletown and we have a great view on the 15th floor.
