This morning we set off west on the Trans Canada Highway for the first time of many and headed to the picturesque town of Banff. A gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain was on the cards for 2 of us & Coconut! Dan found Starbucks at ground level and stayed with his feet on terra firma. The afternoon activity was a leisurely float down Bow River past the Hoodoos, no heights involved here.
We left our campground after taking a few pictures of our view - beautiful view of surrounding mountains. We decided to fill up with gas and were shocked at how high the prices were. We are out in the boonies, but WOW!
