... Banff rather than the highway & it proved worthwhile as we got to see another black bear along the way, snagging a nice photo. We finally arrived at Canmore in time to see the 2nd & 3rd periods of the second playoff of the Stanley Cup, it was an exciting game with the Lightning beating the Blackhawks 4-3, so the playoff series stands at 1 game all (in the best of 7 games)... We did some laundry washing & then went out for tea, walking downtown to a nice tapas restaurant ...
... it - either that or that it wasn't as good as mine! Once we finished up at lunch we headed back tot the hostel to pick up our bags and make our way back to the greyhound station. It's a shame we didn't have longer in Banff however without a car to get to most attractions any longer would have been very expensive. ... cooked in pastry rather than crumbed but the serving included a starter and desert for $16.95. Again our drinks bill was dearer than the meal ha ha.
Our room had 2 queen beds so plenty of room to stretch out. Back to reality tomorrow a 250km drive to Vancouver, drop the car off and head to the Weston for our last night in Canada.
Will send more when we get to Honkers in after our 12.5 hour flight.
