But here there is for example the international office, the office where our advisors are located. Whenever we have any issues, their doors are open for us and they do everything that’s possible to aid us. Another building on campus is the teachers building, a building where every teacher has their own office. And in an additional building there is the ...

      Not enjoying Tampico

We arrive in Tampico tired and get a taxi out to a hotel that no longer exists. Our taxi driver suggests another which is undergoing building work, and we end up at the beach front where half the hotels are stupidy expensive towers of sanity, or grimy part-time brothels. We end up back at the bus station and buy our tickets out for the next morning!

As some of you know we had a sister from here that was visiting Portland ride back with us. "Karen" When we arrived back in Altamira her mother had a delicious meal waiting for us. See why we love it here. The brothers are really wonderful. Anyway, I will try to show some pictures of our travels through the US. It was so beautiful.

Johnny at Sanborn Insurance was a great help and provided us with several maps and guides to help us on the journey. Next, we gassed up and stopped by the ‘Casa de Cambio’ (house of change) to change U.S. dollars into Mexican pesos. All of that took ...
