I must've been doing something right as a couple of different people asked me for help (although to be honest, anyone staying upright would have been an improvement for these skating newbies - still I was dead proud of myself ;) ) and I got chatting to a couple of them and we (kind of) skated around together. Afterwards I was a bit chilly so went in search of hot chocolate and a corner to read my book in. Although no reading ...

We had drinks at the rather stylish Gransvoort rooftop bar and dinner at one of our favourite’s, Catch, a fish restaurant. ... pieces of chocolate waiting for dessert! I was so glad to be sitting down when I took a bite of the ginger bourbon chocolate - I nearly died it was so good. That was the best chocolate I've ever had. I am going to go back sometime next week to get a whole box of those things to bring home. I know I've already said this, but these Brooklyn hipsters know how to do food. I'm ruined. I will spend the rest of my life waiting to find french toast, bourbon, and dark chocolate as good as I had ...

... as I thought they would be though. I think the price was in line with the Internet prices I had seen, but hey, we were in New York, they had tickets, and we bypassed an unbelievably long line.
Tickets in hand, we had two hours to check something off our list. We took the metro over to Rockefeller Center to use our Top of the Rock passes to go to the top of the building. Along the tour we learned about all the NBC shows that are ...
