So today we decided to head out to Echuca to check out the famous Port and the Paddle Boats on the Murray River. Apparently this was the place to be in the hay days for farming, and paddle boats.

It was just over a 200km drive (quite long) but very scenic and beautiful countryside. We finally made it just after 12 and sat down for some lunch and then headed over to the Port of Echuca to see when the next paddle boat ride was. We only had to wait 1/2 hr ...

We left Barmah the next day and went and camped back on the Murray river for a couple of days at Cobram at a place called Horseshoe Beach.
