Second night on the road, we are going to free camp again for two nights, had a place picked out to go to, but when we visited the information centre at Echuca they informed us that due to rain the area would be boggy and not accessable to the caravan. So, we had to head back out the way we had come in 15 klm.

After dropping off the houseboat and saying farewell to our cousins it was time to leave Mildura. The plan was to stay at Swan Hill but when we arrived at lunch time the car temp said it was 46 degrees! Once we'd finished lunch we decided it was best to keep moving (staying in the aircon) and setting up somewhere later in the day when it was hopefully cooler...
