Sleep ok considering 5 in the small room. The refuge is quite new, very clean. Basic Breaky then off we go. Mostly on bitumen today, ******* the feet, humid with some hills. Country views typical of France, green rolling hills of vines with stone houses etc. only 21 km today. Saw a deer run thru the vines, , very quick! ... What they did not realise was that the pressure bandage that they put on was far too tight and that was causing lack of finger movement plus loss of feeling in the fingers. Anyway there was a bit of pain because of the bandage so they put a drip in and gave me some morphine which made me feel like **** plus my blood pressure dropped to 60/40!!!!!!!! During all this babe went and put fuel in big red a task she did very well as she had never driven in this town before. At 10pm ...
