We left Mosinee, WI this morning, made a stop at Mullens Cheese Shop and drove to Green Bay, WI because Larry wanted to see the Lambeau football arena. From there we went on to Manitowoc, WI, boarding the RV at 2 p.m. Although the forecast was looking stormy and rainy, the weather moved ahead of us and we had clear sailing. The ...

So far have traveled through Manistee (small, homes are older and not as kept as in Ludington but still cute; Cadillac, Kalkaska -tired looking, and Petosky - really really charming & picturesque - loved the vintage flavor). They were all-too kind and offered us beer for our trouble, which was the kindling to a beautiful relationship we had with them. That ...

    ... tonight.

Severe thunderstorm on the way...so we booked!

Nice motel - glad it's brick because there is a MAJOR storm coming through this area tonight!

Got an alarm on my iPad that there was smoke in my condo, so spent the better part of the afternoon trying to get in touch with neighbors every time we stopped, Using on of the other rider's cell phones! Not fun!

    Homeward-bound tomorrow!

... the forest next to a root ridden tree at one point it was that unbearable. However what's fantastic about electric forest is that there is actually a full on water park at the festival and so we paid a moderate sum to get a short golf buggy ride to the water park with the texans and escape the heat. The water park was great fun with everything you'd expect in a water park plus cold beer! Overall it was a great festival that I'd highly ...
