We are staying 4 nights in Renfrew, Ontario to just relax before our next stops Montreal and Quebec. This is a nice KOA campground, expensive but nice on a small spring feed lake that is over 100ft deep. Some people and children are swimming but it is cold water. The campground is full on the weekends with some permanents and people from around the area. Renfrew is a small town with a population of around 7,000, but they have a Walmart and is not to far from Ottawa. The town has ...

We drive for about 1.5 hours to get to Fort Coulonge. We are staying at the hostel at Esprit - a white water rafting companies camping grounds. This place would be incredible in summer! Sadly for us it was windy and rainy for our first evening. Our accommodation was small wooden cabins. Not much room to move but better than a tent outside in the weather!!
