      Eating up the miles (kilometers?) on the way out of Ottawa, I headed northwest on Canada 17 towards Sudbury.       I went for a swim at Iron Ring i.e. bailed out of the boat after it flipped and had to swim to shore while the group retreated my boat, paddle, shoes etc, then proceeded to swim across the rapid (which actually made for a fun experience).
