Ontario has the most incredible rock or granite walls along the road. I kept trying to take photos, but they just don't do it justice. Absolutely beautiful! And it is everywhere. What a show - the BEST. ...

Eventually it became time for fuel and a rest break and I started looking for a good place to stop. There were many road signs touting the qualities of a placed called Pembroke so I rolled the dice and took a right turn off ...

    ... paddle.

I went for a swim at Iron Ring i.e. bailed out of the boat after it flipped and had to swim to shore while the group retreated my boat, paddle, shoes etc, then proceeded to swim across the rapid (which actually made for a fun experience). I thought about abandoning ship when we were scouting the next rapid but figured the worst that could happen my ego would take a(nother) hit after I go for another ...
