Best Western Pelican Beach Fort Lauderdale

Great place to stay. Room was large and nice. I would consider it a great place for a family for it has a kitchen in it and is on beach.

Request to be 3rd floor or higher for view. Construction of new place next door was a bit noisy in am. Construction office is downstairs converted room. Requested a late check out of one extra hour and was denied! ??? Good experience overall. Try the Greek restaurant down the street north one mile. Great food!

We had our second visit to The Best Western Pelican Beach resort. Our first visit was about 5 years ago when the resort had several different buildings. At first, I was sorry to hear that this was no longer the case, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a family oriented resort, I would strongly recommend the Pelican Beach resort.

Im sure couples would feel the same. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I do look forward to visiting again once the new building is completed.

My husband and first stayed at the Pelican 11 years ago while still in college and have gone every year, sometimes 2 and 3 times ever since.

The staff has stayed the same friendly bunch from our first trip, which is saying something about the resort. Renovations will only make the place better than it already is! We consider it our home away from home.

I called to reserve one of the effiencies that they advertise on the internet. They told me that they no longer have any kitchens or kitchenettes. thought you should know.

We have been staying at this resort for over 4 years now. The kids love it. DIrectly on the beach. Wonderful staff. We even know them by name.

Real family atmosphere. Very relaxing vacation. Beautiful. Cant wait to go back. Nice to sit on the balcony, overlook the ocean and watch nature at its finest. A+ in my book. Outstanding vacation.DIna Shelly/Tom Kendorski

Found this place after checking out of another property down the road that was awful. The staff was so helpful, and made sure that our stay was comfortable and clean. The suite was great, 2 seperate rooms, an eating area and kitchenette. We had a king bed, a queen size murphy bed and a single pullout sleeper. Plenty of room for us and the 3 kids!

Plus a balconony overlooking the ocean. My husband travels on business to this area a few times a year, and we plan to make this our regular stop! Can't wait for the new 11 story building they are working on to be finished!

I stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort when I was in Ft. Lauderdale to look at a school for my son. We both loved it. It is right on the beach, the view is wonderful, the rooms were clean and large, and all of the people associated with the hotel are great! We have already booked our rooms for our trip back in several weeks.

We took our five grown children, spouses, and grandchildren there and we all loved it - and went again two years later. The grandchildren still talk about having breakfast on the deck, swimming in the pool, and walking on the beach. We will return again next year - it's our together time - wonderful memories - comfortable accomodations - and the beach feels like it's our own.

Great pre or post cruise stay on the beach. Staff are very friendly and a good value compared to the pricier hotels close to the Port Everglades. Have stayed there many times and will again.

On our first trip to Ft. Lauderdale, my husband and I had no idea of where to stay. I found this hotel in a guide book. It was the only one I found that was on the beach. The rooms were nothing special, but the beach was nice and it had a great heated pool. I would stay there again.
