Today my dad joined me and my mom in visiting Callaway Gardens! We stopped by Callaway Gardens' Country Shop first for the view and sample of country foods like grits and syrupy biscuits. According to the my parents, the food at the country shop restaurant is mediocre and expensive, but people go there for the view! The wait was too long, so we ended up eating elsewhere. ... in America more easily than in Europe or Asia. Attitude towards individuals with disabilities is more lax here, I feel like. Like I saw a morbidly obese lady on an electric cart at a grocery store the other way, and it was like, ah yes, America. Imagine her trying to shop at a grocery store in Stockholm! She would get stuck in the bread aisle, ugh. Anyway, so yes, America is very diverse, so I feel like obese people, short people, people with disabilities, etc are seen ...

We leave Denver for Hawaii on January 3rd.

I'm about to embark on the trip of a lifetime with some of the best friends anyone could ask for. ... to ask Trish about some of the more American foods which we had not yet tried and they managed to get me a sample of cheddar grits, not really my thing it is a bit like Polenta but with a slightly 'gritty' texture as though some of the grains have softened but not mushed yet and I am reliably informed it you don't put flavour in, like Polenta, there is no flavour.
