Tonto Natural Bridge, Payson, AZ
I LOVED PAYSON!!!! It was a wonderful town with tons of things to do! We saw the "Tonto Natural Bridge". (Spanish: "tonto". English translation: "fool". Did they intentionally name Tonto "tonto"???) We love the bridge and climbing around. We also rode horses at Kohl's Ranch Lodge. FUN!! (Today was Mother's day in 2004.)
Back in the Mountains

Water Wheel Falls

The path in between the walls seems very narrow, but that did not stop a few boys from jumping off the cliffs and into the 20+ feet of water below. North Rim, Grand Canyon
... The drop-off was steep and there are no guardrails. You have to watch for free ranging cattle along the roads, deer and falling rocks. The view of the Grand Canyon from the North Rim is no less breathtaking than the South Rim, but it is different. I'm not even going to try to find the words to describe the beauty. I can't. Flagstaff Arizona
... and the tour guide did seem to be a little upset that it is no longer considered a planet. One of the most interesting things that I learned about Pluto was that for about 20 years for 1979-1999 it was actually closer to the sun the Neptune was.
