Simple and plain but with easy and convenient access to Disneyland across the road. Coming from three nights in a Hilton though has out me off a bit!

Excellent accommodation, very simple but clean and very friendly concierge. Highly recommend staying here if you don't wanna stay at the fancy Disney Resorts.

      We made it!
Not only made it but we spent the first day of our big adventure rubbing our noses with Micky Mouse - quite literally!
We started off the day at Denny's diner having ourselves a big breakfast with eggs sunny side up, real crispy bacon (?) and Tabasco sauce (only in America!).
We then made our way to the land of Micky Mouse …

Hey there! Hi there! Ho there! It's a Disney kinda day! So we’ve come to the Disney portion of Chris, Lucy and Rich’s Californian Adventure, Part 2. As we went to Disneyland Park last time, we decided to experience the other park at the resort – Disney California Adventure.

Apologies if this blog is a bit wonky but we are smack-dab in the middle of Exhaustion, down the road from Tired and Aching, on the edge of Knackered, half a mile from Delusional. We are in the Disneyland Resort, staying at a Best Western Hotel just outside the resort, but Christ what a day it's been. Started off well, chilling with coffees on our …

... is something I've managed to avoid for some time but out here its amazing. You get the most random people ever. todays entertainment was some dude singing halo the unstoppable laughing sums up how bad he was.

The day ended at Boulevard3 a club for those who have a lot of money and which seemed to be the place to go is you're Asian. Sadly being neither of these things it wasn't the best.

... rest of the city was described by the guide as suburban sprawl. We drove through charming neighborhoods with lots of craftsman style houses and drove through the seedy red light district ( prostitution is legal here.). The plus of being on a tour is you do get a lot of interesting information about life in another country natives are called Kiwis ( the fruit is called kiwi important distinction) and there is no iced tea. I tend to zone out on important ...
