Simple and plain but with easy and convenient access to Disneyland across the road. Coming from three nights in a Hilton though has out me off a bit!

Excellent accommodation, very simple but clean and very friendly concierge. Highly recommend staying here if you don't wanna stay at the fancy Disney Resorts.

      We made it!
Not only made it but we spent the first day of our big adventure rubbing our noses with Micky Mouse - quite literally!
We started off the day at Denny's diner having ourselves a big breakfast with eggs sunny side up, real crispy bacon (?) and Tabasco sauce (only in America!).
We then made our way to the land of Micky Mouse …

Bubba Gump (turning into one of our faves) held his pride in place at the beginning of the pier, and how could we resist. This time buying a Bubba Gump shirt each. We hired bikes for the day, only lasting a few hours, after have ridden the Golden Gate Bridge less than a week ago. Thank goodness it was a flat terrain. I don't think my quads could ...

... a local. Though some of them drive pretty damn fast. Watching my phone lead the way I was alarmed that I was on 20% power and had an hour to drive. My phone wasn't going to last 10min. So I look for a place to pull over so I can get my charger out, and plug it into the car. I find an exit and I come down the ramp to see a shopping complex across the street from the T intersection in which I've just stopped at. I am thinking to myself, 'I don't know where I am. I could get shot ...

... to eat first, so stopped at Dennys for a late breakfast. We could see the roller coaster park from Dennys and I noticed that it looked awfully quiet. I grabbed my mobile, got online and found that they were closed – only open on Weekends during winter. So we’d driven all that way just to go to Dennys apparently . Oh well. I was actually not feeling well after our late night so it was probably a good thing. ...
