    Washington is a very long state. It took us about eight hours to get from Olympic National Park to Kennewick, Washington en route to Yellowstone.

    Before I get to the scenery, let me tell why else we used to avoid Scottie's...THE TRAINS!!!! There were two through the middle of the night and there are several level crossings near the lots of horns. But, to be fair, the rest of the time was dead quiet.     ... head to Portland and then the next day - we get to our "real" destination, Aunt Sarah's farm!     Right next to our RV park was a large circular alfalfa field with a special sprinkler system to water it. We watched it for about 20 minutes as it slowly moved around the field. Pretty neat. And, we saw a beautiful California ...
