      ... premises. Paul supplies the bait which is soaked maize and seems to work just as well as anything else.












      Paul also has a boat and takes you to swims that are on the small islands in the St. Lawrence and gives you the low-down on where to fish and how deep it is etc.

      ... in advance had allowed me to get a business class ticket for less than 25. It seems particularly ridiculous because this 500km trip, including a pretty good lunch, costs about that same as that Heathrow Express return ticket!

      ... that dot eastern Quebec, many of which were settled when Quebec still belonged to France and which have a strong French flavor to them. Very nice ride with lots of beautiful little towns with wonderful and well maintained old buildings. The only down side is that the speed limits of most of these town are 40 kph, so it is slow going to get 200 miles or so through them. We stayed the path, in spite of getting mis-directed ...
