Water Park day! We're in the "Water Park Capital of the World" so you know I built in my itinerary a water park day. My parents didn't intend to join us in the park so they went their separate way to tour Madison.

The weather here caused a switch of days as it was rainy yesterday when I originally planned to go to the Noah's Ark water park so we went today, Friday, instead and it was a perfect day ...

We checked into our hotel at the Wilderness Hotel and it was safe to say we were quite overwhelmed by the size and scope of Wilderness! The Resort can hold up to 10,000 people and has at least 5 water parks ...

... back to the hotel around 4pm to change and head out for dinner. We went back to Wisconsin Dells and had dinner at Buffalo Phil's. It was a big place very near to Great Wolf Lodge and as you walked in it looked like a huge lodge. Our drinks were brought to us by a large electric train. Those servers must love their job! Dad wants to run the train if we ever open a restaurant. Toward the end of our meal (which was quite delicious) the train ran around ...

... us $1 to find out. Mom pulled out a dollar and the server went to "get the ladder". Instead he came back with a few quarters taped together and some thumbtacks. It's getting late so I will leave you to contemplate how the dollar bills got from the table to the ceiling. I just hope that the taped quarters didn't hit someone on the head on their way down because they didn't come down as expected.

After lunch we walked around the square because ...
