Found a track by matching the photo in the brochure with what I could see out the window, and then assumed that it was the right stone wall. Never did find the dovecote. Kept going up the hill and not into private driveways till there was a sign where the track split that indicated the way to Castelbrando. Made it.

Out to the PO in the morning. As the rest of the town is closed, think everyone does their banking today. Fortunately a separate queue for those with mail. Stopped for a snack on the way home - its hard work queuing! Those in the queues just slipped away, as from the cafe, the only thing visible in the main street was a scattered leaf blowing across the cobblestones. Pure Clint Eastwood opener sans music!
