We did a load of laundry at the hotel and after a fine hotel breakfast of white breads and sugars we set off toward Abilene with the goal for the day to make it to Caprock Canyon State Park. We were all looking forward to the camp thing again after a couple of hotel nights.

Back to the road, it was 70 miles today and we SMASHED it, best day so far I think our average speed was 21/22MPH the roads were flat, not the greatest ...

We were sidelined on our southwestern camping trip by a large deer and the tow company dropped us off at this BW. It is satisfactory, but seems a little grungy and not vacuumed well. However, in true BW form, they have everything we need here. Micro, fridge, breakfast, internet, etc.
