On a rainy Saturday morning, I drove from Charlotte to Durham. While the weather was horrible, my friend Rach and I made the most of it by going to an Acroyoga class. I wish I had pictures!! It was super hard, but also really fun once we got the hang of it (there was a lot of falling and laughing in the process).

We arrived in Durham and immediately headed out with my friend Rachele from high school to see the feature film at the Durham Full Frame Film Festival. It was a pretty heavy film, but we made sure there was plenty of silliness afterwards to balance out the night!

I'm older now. Oh hell, let's face it. I'm old. I know that sometimes plans are meant to be just that. Plans. Nothing more. And that's ok. Life is full of more important things than taking on often overly-ambitious plans. Like taking a break when the signs are there. Like slowing down to enjoy a day without distractions -- and never leaving the house (even someone else's house.) Like taking time to live in a new place, even for a day.
