Brian and I have made up our minds to move to San Francisco with our dog Baxter.
We plan to drive my car, a compact 3-series BMW, loaded with all of our earthly belongings and our 2 bikes. We have several stops planned along the way and are ready to start our own life together. This blog documents our quick adventures as I spend 2 weeks between jobs, living life to the fullest with my 2 loves.
... But there is such a thing as New Overload. It's not pretty. So in order to short circuit things before they hit that point, we had a whole day of quiet time at Uncle Rob's house. Naps were taken. Bam! Feet hit the floor after a semi-good night's sleep.
Whoosh! Three people get ready for another's day travel.
Boom! Two tons of luggage gets repacked in the car.
Snarf! Breakfast is consumed at the IHoP next to the hotel.
Stop! There's a cute girl (and French, no less) at the table next to us. And with that, the rhythm of the morning takes a different turn.

Jeff had organised a pontoon boat for the day so we picked it up around 9:30 and motored to the bait shop, the Kangaroo .. lol. We picked up a bucket of minnows and then went to one of his favourites spots on the lake to try for some crappies and some catfish.
