... ve been uncomfortably hot. Good reason for anchoring out rather than tying up somewhere! The deer flies were vicious so swims to cool down were quick and mostly underwater! There's quite a lot to organize for the trip home tomorrow, so we've been making many trips to the car. Everyone seems to be feeling a mix of emotions, some excitement about heading home but also some sadness that the trip is ...

Sleeper bus - great idea but needs to be built to house us giant North Americans
Hard sleeper train - great way to travel - 6 bunks to a berth. A great way to meet people, air conditioned and pretty smooth
Plane - pretty cheap to get around and easy on/off.
Taxi (and scams) - always get an estimate of the price and then ensure meter goes on (from zero). We did ...

... alone. Not ideal not to be sitting with Ellen, but there is no way I could sit in those seats for 14 hours!!!

Better flight amenities coming back - contemporary movies, ok meals and at least 1 beer each. Not enough monitors for everyone to see (sorry Eleanor) but at a cost many hundreds of dollars less than Cathay Pacific - satisfactory. Lot's of drousing, dining (3 meals) and movies and back in Canada.

In line for customs Eleanor had to take out an ...
