Hi

Well we now back in Fenelon Falls. The evening prior to us leaving Quebec we decided to go to the Ice Parade at 8.00pm in the evening. It went for 2 hrs and the temp was -26 deg. The parade was very colourful with people dancing, singing and there were many floats. Unfortunately due to the temp our camera wouldn't work. We bailed out after about 1.5hrs as we were freezing despite having foot and hand warmers in ...

... we went into Fenelon Falls and went to Paul's Curling club to watch a competition. For those that may not know this is where they slide a 20kg stone along the use trying to place the most number in a target area while knocking your opponents aside. Very interesting and strategic. An ice version of lawn bowls.

Tomorrow we are off to Ottawa for a couple of days and then onto Quebec.

Stay well.

... before the weather caught up with us. We drove in pelting rain for about an hour and decided to stop early and stay overnight in Peterborough. We want to see the countryside, but not through a rainy window, so we're hoping tomorrow will prove to be sunnier, fingers crossed.

We rented a movie tonight which we'll enjoy from inside our cozy (read dry) RV.
