Hello Everyone,
We're getting ready to go to Cuba, and setting up this blog is part of it. We fly to Havana on the 8th, and we intend to update the blog at regular intervals. I think we're making our escape just in time... the weather's starting to turn the wrong way...
By the way, for any thieves out there who may be cruising this site, we have major security at the house, plus a full-time housesitter, so forget about it!...
Cheers,

... to empty our our wallets to pay. They didn't get a tip. On the way back, Keith spotted Lake Ontario, so we had to make a detour to go and see it. That we did. We drove through Newcastle and then finally in Grafton we found a nice pebbly spot. Keith skipped some rocks and I went back in the car, it was cold. By the time we got home it must've been midnight. Another successful weekend roadtrip.
Grafton, Ontario, Canada starlagurlLeft aligned photo tag: Starting to Plan our trip! So Exciting. We will be travelling to Amora on the 2nd of March via London [where we hear we will have a hectic transfer with lots of time on our hands arriving at 9 AM London time and leaving at 3:30 to arrive on the 3rd of March in Lisbon] Whew! I'm already tired. Good thing we have several days to rest up before our roadtrip to France!
Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada hollingersTo travel well, the road warrior needs to be in good, good, shape. So, my journey begins Sunday morning in Peterborough. Up early and leave my house for the gym. But first, a stop at Tim's for a little java jolt ... after all, it ...
Peterborough, Ontario, Canada rdarcymWe were supposed to leave early Sunday morning, but there were some last minute repairs on my truck that needed to be taken care of. Everything is all fixed now and in perfect working order, so that means we will be on the road first thing Wednesday morning. Better late than never.
Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Canada snowgirl17... a number of things to do there, we chose to tour the Biodome. We couldn't have timed it better. From where we entered the building, we walked along a dividing tape for a few hundred meters. Seemed kind of strange and unnecessary. After waiting what felt like a long time in line (but was really only about 15 minutes), we had our tickets and were off. As we left the Biodome, we discovered what the dividing tape ...
Grafton, Ontario, Canada sanmutsch... Donna. She made another delicious meal with Hungarian Chicken Paprikash, mashed potatoes, and homemade rolls, which Ryan loved. But the best part was the fresh strawberry-rhubarb and blueberry pies. She is spoiling us with all the good food! The boys spent the evening playing Fetch with Caesar again. They would just love to ...
Pontypool, Ontario, Canada joallyblue... or over very much, and maybe that's why it hit me so hard. Or maybe I just had too much on my plate, and it's all better now. I know what I have to do and I can do it. This is the Joanna I remember and love. I don't think panic attacks become me, and as such I intend to quit having them. Friday was the last one. From now on I think we're good. Thanks all for coming to my funny nights out. Pics to follow. J
Peterborough, Ontario, Canada jose... characterized by relatively low buildings into one dotted with skyscrapers. These new buildings caused serious communication problems. With its microwave receptors at 338 m (1,109 ft.) and 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches) antenna, the CN Tower swiftly solved the communication problems with room to spare. As a result people living in the Toronto area now enjoy some of the clearest reception in North America. We also take a walk on ...
Toronto, Canada adeline... Rivers. I decided to go with a Ukrainian meal of perogies and cabbage rolls which made me realize that doesn't appear to be a difference between Ukrainian cuisine and Polish cuisine. Anyone out there care to enlighten me? The rain began not long after I got in the car. I headed south-easterly in order to go under the Lake of The Woods through the top of Minnesota. As soon as you tell the American customs agents that you are just passing through they pull you over for ...
