The hotel was huge and had a lot of space for you to adventure. The food was exquisite it had a marvelous taste. The pool in the hotel was a nice size and was very clean. Overall it was a nice stay.

    Disneyyyy

A travel blog entry by lj_in.the.usa on Jul 09, 2015

Today was our first full day in Orlando!!! We went to Disney Magic Kingdom and Epcot. They weren't what I was expecting. I was imagining movie world and dream world but 3 times bigger. That was completely, utterly incorrect. Disney world is a so called "theme-park" but it is more shows and performances, restaurants, stores, souvenirs etc. so more of an ...

... the rest of the week is "slow." As there weren't big crowds today we think we may not see any long lines on our remaining two days.

We got to the park about 9:30 this morning and left at 6pm...tired but happy with our experiences.

Back at the condo we've finished some very good rotini with steamed carrots, leftover steamed broccoli and onions in the canned spaghetti sauce. Time to wash off the sunscreen and relax.

I’m sure I’ve missed loads of stuff out, that’s the problem with falling behind with the blog! The gist of the day for me was Harry Potter though, and I love my new wand! I’m so going back next week on my own to just walk around and cast spells ...

... actually liked each of these three parks a lot more than
Magic Kingdom. The fireworks at Epcot were the best which revolved around the
lake at the centre of the park. The mission Space ride here was my favourite.
There were also a number of other rides here that were part of the World fair
and the park is also about innovation and the future and there were some
interesting concepts. Epcot also houses pavilions(similar to Expo) from
    countries around the ...

    Trading Culture for Cult

That's right, we have moved from the beautiful and historic art deco architecture of Miami to the cult that is Disney. Considering we managed to avoid joining any dangerous sects (e.g. Mickey Mouse Club among others) the day went pretty well. We forgot to bring our matching family t-shirts and/or princess dresses, just married caps and pin swapping lanyards (Matt was devastated) so will remember next time...
